Seasonal Pitches at Old York Forest

Price
Our fee for 2021 is £1650 for the year ( includes 10 months open and 2 months winter storage on the pitch) or £1850 for a serviced pitch

Season Period
Starts 1st Feb and ends 1st Dec.
Annual payment includes 2 months winter storage.

Electricity
Electricity rates for 2021 are 17p per unit.
No Sub-letting of a Seasonal Pitch please.

Small & Peacefull

We really want to the site to continue to be a small and peaceful site. A site to rest and recuperate, somewhere to spend quality time together as a family and enjoy a slower pace of life. For this reason we have the following Terms & Conditions.

Seasonal Terms & Conditions:

Pitch Use
Please keep your pitch tidy, nothing to be stored underneath apart from your water / waste and electric cables when you vacate. Pitch must be used for holiday use only and you must not regularly go to work from the site. Maximum time you can stay on site is 21 nights for any one visit. You must then leave the Site for at least 5 nights before a return visit. No sub-letting of the pitch. Pitch must be used the family unit of 4 people only (Family of over 4 on a discretionary basis)

Awnings
Awnings are permitted all year around provided they have storm straps / No pallet flooring please due to potential of vermin. Awnings and straps must fit within the hard standing so that we can mow the grass around with ease.

Parking
Please park on the hard standing on the front of your van (providing a fire engine can pass – ie 3 metres) or in the car park. Please do not park on the grass next to the pitch as it needs to be free of clutter for Fire , Health & Safety etc

Wind Breaks
You may use wind breaks on the grass in between up to a distance of 3 metres, however you must remove when you leave and when we come to mow the grass.

Around the pitch
No ornaments, boxes, storage or plantings please. You may use your awning to store things when you arn’t on site (deck chairs etc) You are also welcome to use a dog enclosure on the hard standing provided it is safe and smart in appearance.

Taps
Hosepipes can be used for filling of barrels but the taps must be turned off and un-hooked so that water is not accidently wasted etc – Do not “plumb in” unless you have paid for a serviced pitch. No water slides, filling paddling pools or otherwise.

Electric Hook Up
All cables must be unhooked and put away in within your pitch, when you leave. This also applies to waste and water equipment. Please also turn the power off at the kiosk when you leave

Gas
For safety reasons, gas bottles must be kept in the Outfit’s gas locker at all times.

Behavior
Please be courteous to others, no loud music which might upset others on site. We are a quiet and peaceful site. No noise after 10 please. No drones, this upsets the horses and foals next door and also our neighbours. No Cycling / Running or Parking across others pitches please

When you go home
After each visit, please un-hook the power and water, wrap up cables and put away. This is due to health, safety & fire regulations.
